Teams interview with Hannah Reek from Girls Across The Grid

My first interview has taken place, due to distance it's online but nonetheless the content and conversation are both extremely insightful.

Hannah Reek works part time for Girls Across The Grid, a community to unite female motorsport fans across the world. We spoke about the representation, or lack of, for young girls and women wanting to break way into the industry not as drivers but as supporters of the sport and in more behind the scenes roles.

Our conversation covered Hannah's personal experiences as she spoke about her time at university and undertaking a masters degree in Business of Motorsport, as well as her time at Girls Across The Grid. We covered all things from her work at GATG, the community they are creating as well as unconscious biases that women like herself have been subjected to working in this industry.

I asked Hannah at the end of the interview if there was one message she would give to her younger self or likeminded young girls...

"Don't let anyone say no. You have a worth, you have a position, you have a goal, prove to them why you should make it."
